Skill-Sharing Session on Fundraising in Milan

In Milan on 12-13 October Fondazione Banco Alimentare Onlus in collaboration with the European Federation of Food Banks hosted the “Skill-Sharing Session on Fundraising” for 15 foodbankers coming from 12 countries: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Slovenia, Spain, UK.

This Skill-Sharing Session addressed ways of promoting fundraising for supporting the activity of Food Banks, meaning the collection of funds from the private sector and individuals for covering the core costs of Food Banks. The aim of the workshop was to share innovative approaches, reflect on the adaptability of different ideas to particular circumstances, and identify successful best practices for financial support.

This training course was an amaizing opportunity to learn, exchange experiences and strengthen the collaboration among European Food Banks!
